WABAG DISTRICT ALLOCATES K2 MILLION FOR TERTIARY STUDENTS TUITION FEE SUBSIDY PROGRAM

The Wabag District Development Authority (WDDA) has allocated a total of K2 million to subsidize tuition fees for students attending different tertiary institutions throughout the country this year.

Wabag Open MP and Health Minister Hon.Dr Lino Tom (pictured) has announced that this subsidy program will continue as he previously did in his first term in office.
The second term MP maintained that this is a Subsidy Program meaning WDDA will only subsidize “part” of the total tuition fees per applicant.
“We have K2 million under our DSIP for education and we will divide this equitable amongst all successful applicants,” Minister Lino said.
The Wabag District Development Authority has been assisting parents by subsidizing school fees for tertiary students since 2018.
