The Department of Finance (DoF) firmly rebuts the misleading and sensational
headline by the Post Courier claiming “NO PAY FOR PUBLIC SERVANTS.” This
report has unfairly tarnished the government’s reputation and caused
unnecessary alarm among public servants and the public.

The assertion that police, soldiers, and teachers have not been paid is
categorically false. The government is committed to ensuring that all public
servants receive their salaries on time. The DoF is actively working to address
any issues promptly and ensure continuous, accurate payments.

We confirm that all public servants pay have been remitted today. We
apologies for the slight delay due to salary adjustments for certain
organizations that had to be inputted.

The Department of Finance remains dedicated to ensuring the timely and
accurate payment of salaries for all public servants. We urge the public to
disregard misleading reports and trust that the government is taking necessary
steps to maintain efficient and fair payment systems. Your patience and
understanding during this transition period are greatly appreciated.
