The Writ for the Lagaip Open Seat was presented to the Acting Governor General Sir Gibbs Salika this afternoon at the Government House.
Returning Officer for the Lagaip Open Seat Mr.Beto Pokale and Electoral Commissioner Simon Sinai presented the Writ to the Acting Governor General witnessed by the Finance and National Planning and Monitoring Minister Hon.Rainbo Paita.
Minister Paita who is also the Leader of Government Business was officially present to witness this special occasion.
The MP Elect Hon.Aimos Akem brings the total of Pangu Pati parliamentary strength to 56 which is more than half of the National Parliament numerical strength.
