THE Saints Basketball team has announced their participation in the BK Academy Tournament, scheduled for August 13th to 14th at St James College, Spring Hill, Brisbane.
The event will feature teams from Taiwan, Papua New Guinea’s Saints, and more. Leading the Saints to Brisbane will be PNG 3×3 Men’s Basketball Captain Sibona Kala, supported by players Bulie Budin, Donald Kala, Pauna Kule, Joe Jnr Mainakavika, Malcolm Maliaki, William Mirupasi, Misack Reali, Russel Sabuia, Sebestian Alewa, and Lindon Seeto. The team will be under the guidance of Head Coach Lawrence Lahari.
In addition to competing, the Saints will participate in specialized coaching academy sessions aimed at enhancing their skills and experience.
Accompanying the boys on this journey are Saints players Junah Ilagi, Nape Waka, Dianne Lahari, and Ronnie Pomat, who will also benefit from the training and exposure at the tournament.
