THE election AGM for POMRFL has been deferred to 7th December after there was no quorum to convene the meeting.
Chairman of Port Moresby Rugby League (POMRFL) Dr. James Naipao deferred the election after only four clubs presidents were present for the annual General Meeting on Saturday as per the 14 days’ notice given by the Chairman on the 19th of November.
He said this is to protect the constitution of POMRFL and appealed to the qualified affiliates to come to the election AGM to vote for the Chairman.
He said if there is no quorum on the 7th of December, them the chairman of POMRFL will write the letter to the PNGRFL to send an administrator to step in to look after the office while the issue is being resolved.

Dr. Naipao said Butterflies and Gulf West have no proof of affiliations to the Port Moresby Rugby League and so they are not qualify to attend the election AGM
