SIMBU Provincial Police Commander (PPC), Superintendent, Mazuc Rubianghas launched a clean-up operation in the Kundiawa Town on Friday (10th January) to restore order and ensure public safety.
Superintendent Rubiang commenced his official duties as the new Provincial Police Commander on Wednesday 08th January 2025 and wasted no time to initiative this operation to eradicate petty crimes and maintain law and order within the Kundiawa township.
Mr Rubiang said a show of strength was also conducted today focusing on drunk patrols to enforce liquor ban across the province. He said these measures are aimed to curb alcohol related issues and enforce Law and order in the province.
PPC Rubiang needed the continued support and cooperation from every policeman and policewoman in his command including the public to effectively roll-out this initiative.
Mr Rubiang said curb law and order issues is everyone’s responsibility and needs support and cooperation from public especially youths to make this province a better place to live and work.
