Daltron and Courts opened their eighth branch in Madang on Friday last week, located within the Boroko Motors facility along Modilon Road, Madang Town.
Daltron and Courts are business units of Carpenter Retail & Property Ltd, a subsidiary of WR Carpenters Ltd, making them part of the WR Carpenter (PNG) Group of Companies.
Officially opening the branch was the Governor for Madang, Hon. Ramsey Pariwa, in the presence of invited guests, including Father Phil Gibbs, President of Divine Word University.
Representing the business were Mr Shehan Zahir, Assistant General Manager, South Pacific Region – WR Carpenter Group of Companies, and Mrs Liza-Marie Brooks, General Manager of Boroko Motors.
This new branch is part of Daltron’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Madang community by providing convenient access to quality technology products, consumer electronics, and professional services.
Mr Pariwa during his speech, before officially cutting the ribbon to open the shop said that it was an indication that Madang is picking up in its commercial activities.
“I would like to thank the management and staff of WR Carpenters Group of Companies for your confidence in coming to Madang to do business,” he said.
Attendees also had access to exclusive opening-day offers while touring the new shop. Light refreshments were also provided for guests to enjoy as part of Daltron’s milestone opening in Madang.
Hosting the guests on behalf of Daltron, Mr Zahir said Daltron was the first information technology (IT) Company in the country.
“We are ready to expand, and we are expanding with this 8th showroom in Madang. On the 21st of August, we are opening our 9th showroom with the opening of Koki Eliseo,” he said.
