The SP PNG Hunters held their annual awards presentation dinner at the Sheraton Stanley Hotel and Suites on Sunday, 6th September. Closing off a tough season for the club since losing a valuable number of experienced players to other clubs overseas, the SP PNG Hunters celebrated those individual performances that stood out during the year.
With a total of 10 new debutants this year, Coach Paul Aiton is happy with the young talents progression and believes that this will give them much needed experience in preparing for next year’s season. He congratulated all the award winners for the performances and challenged them to be better again next year.
Hunters Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Scott Barker spoke to the 270 plus friends, family and partners rearming the club’s commitment and charter to develop players for higher honours.
Barker also commended those corporate partners for their loyal on-going support of the SP PNG Hunters program.
The Hunters will now break before resuming training in November for the start of the 2027 preseason.
