Minister for Transport & Coffee and Wapenamanda Open MP, Hon. Miki Kaeok, has praised Setao Construction for its work on the Tsak Road Maintenance Project under the Connect PNG Program, covering the section from Mukuramanda Junction to Raiakam Junction.
The road maintenance works include pavement resheeting, drainage works, culvert installation, slip protection, gabion structures, Type D cut works and slip removal. Minister Kaeok also acknowledged the ongoing Tsak–Raiakam and Pitipais RMCN Secondary School–Tambul road construction works, which will improve connectivity, support agriculture and provide better access to essential services for local communities.




Minister Kaeok further thanked the Department of Works and Highways and the Marape–Rosso Government for their continued support to Wapenamanda District, Lowarlai and Tsak communities, despite the challenges, including fighting in parts of Wapenamanda. He reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to delivering vital infrastructure and keeping communities connected.
