ORO Governor, Hon. Gary Juffa believes that Prime Minister James will prove his critics wrong and that he should be given a full 5-year mandate.
“I fully support PMJM.
“He has my full support and I have no doubts as to his ability to navigate Papua New Guinea into more prosperous destinations,” he said.
Juffa also made it clear that he had no intention of taking the Prime Minister seat.
“To take the seat of the Prime Minister is no easy feat and requires much resources and number of MPs- I have neither.
“I also have to fix my province first before I can even consider a task as huge as fixing the country,” he said.
Juffa, the leader for People’s Movement for Change Party is leading the race for the Oro Regional Seat.
He leads with 14, 084 votes and is followed by People’s National Congress (PNC) Party candidate, Allen Mesa with 8, 451 votes.
This was the result after the first elimination yesterday.
