THE best of PNG’s products and investments will be showcased at a highest level at the 2021 World Expo in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for the next six months according to the Deputy Commissioner General Ms Jacinta Warakai Manua.
The PNG World Expo Pavilion team led by the Deputy Commissioner General Ms Manua departed PNG over the weekend (Saturday 18th of September) for Dubai to prepare for the official opening on the 1st of October, 2021.
Ms Manua said her team has been tasked to set up the pavilion which will include a Virtual Expo Display where countries from all over the world including PNG can watch the expo and communicate with the PNG Pavilion on their interest in product and investment .
PNG products like Coffee, Cocoa, Dolly, Besta, Ox and Palm, PNG Water, Mining and Renewable Resource like Fisheries, Tourism, Mining, Forestry and Tourism will be displayed at the pavilion in Dubai.
The pavilion Team comprises of officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade , Investment Promotion Authority, Tourism Promotion Authority and Department of Communication and Information.
