PACIFIC Industries Limited (PIL), through its Mountain Dew brand, together with Wan Squad, is proud to celebrate five years of partnership with Trophy Haus, the official medals and trophy sponsor of the 2026 Mountain Dew X Wan Squad National Dance Championship.
The 2026 Mountain Dew x wan Squad National Dance championships will be held on 16th August 2026 and will feature more than 100 dancers performing for an audience of approximately 600 spectators.
During the announcement whilst celebrating its 7th Anniversary Pacific Industries highlighted that, the championships have grown into one of PNG’s leading youth competitions in the country.
“It is providing a platform for young dancers from across the country to showcase their talent, creativity and passion while promoting confidence, teamwork and positive youth engagement.” Said Mr. Everett Chve Pacific Industries Director .
Pacific Industries said it is more than competition, the championships bring together communities from across PNG in a spirit of healthy competition.
“It creates an environment where young people can challenge themselves, support one another and take pride in representing their teams, schools and communities.” He added.
Pacific Industries revealed that they are excited to have Trophy Haus on board as the official championship medals d trophies sponsor for the fifth consecutive year.
Pacific Industries also announced Fone Haus through its Mint brand to contribute to prices for winners as well as support promotional activities in the lead up of the championships.

Your support has played an important role in recognizing the achievements of our dancers and contributing to the growth of the championships over the years. Together, we look forward to delivering another memorable experience for our dancers, supporters and thee wider community.”
In response a representative from Trophy Haus and the National Operations Manager for Mint Miss. Tina Hurrell said they’re so proud to continue to support Wan Squad as its way of giving back to Papua New Guinean communities.
“This is a great pathway to showcase local talent, and on the global stage and we are really proud to support it into the future,” she said.
Organizers also announced an international dance workshop to be held on 14th August with 11 guest coaches from Australia, in partnership with the Australian High Commission and the Dance competition on the 16th.
