BULOLO District is the first district in Morobe Province to complete its entry by name list as a requirement to participate in the upcoming Momase Regional Youth Games (RYG).
The youth games will be hosted in Madang District from September 25 – 30.
District manager Frazer Peter said the district was prepared in advance when they received advice from the Morobe Sports division to conduct its district games last
December in preparation for the Morobe Games in 2023. “We conducted competitions for a number of codes and have selected our best athletes, and today we have a full squad ready for either the provincial or regional games,” Peter said.
He said they conducted their games right from the wards/LLG a month earlier before the four LLG contingents competed at the district games in Bulolo district Headquarters.
He said the current Bulolo squad selection was representative of the district.“What we got are the best from the district,” Peter said.
“We expect to showcase their talents and hope they can be scouted either at the regional games or the upcoming Morobe Games.”He said Bulolo MP Sam Basil Jr sponsored all games conducted in the district.
