ACTING Governor-General, His Excellency Job Pomat, CMG, MP, on Wednesday officiated at the swearing-in ceremony of the new head of the Registry of Political Parties and Candidates and an acting Ombudsman Commissioner.
Emmanuel Pok has been appointed as Registrar of Political Parties for a period of six years, while Joseph Molita, who served as director (complaints and administrative investigations) and Secretary to the Ombudsman Commission, was appointed as an acting Ombudsman.
