MEMBER for Vanimo-Green Hon. Belden Namah says he cannot serve under a prime minister who is so hypocritical.
He made this statement when Sunday Bulletin asked for a comment following Prime Minister James Marape’s recent announcement in removing him (Namah) from the Government.
“I am not a member of his PANGU PATI INO SAVE LONG ROT* for him to make a grand announcement for my release, but thank you James Marape for the respect accorded,” Namah said.
“If you didn’t know, I have already announced my resignation from your most corrupt and incompetent leadership on Thursday 11th of January 2024.
“I cannot serve under a Prime Minister who is so hypocritical.
“On one moment you say one thing and does totally the opposite the very next moment. One moment you are calling God’s name and the next moment you are performing the acts of Satan.
“NO! NO! NO!. I cannot serve under your leadership James Marape.”
The Vanimon-Green MP further went on saying “I would rather serve and save my country and my people from you the most corrupt and incompetent man I have ever known”.
PM Marape when announcing the removal of Mr. Namah from Government has expressed gratitude to him (Namah) for his participation in the government since the 2022 General Elections.
“The Honourable Namah is a personal friend but I have responded to the call by my Party’” PM Marape said.
He also also acknowledged the resignations of six MPs last week from Government.
PM Marape thanked them for their contributions to the Government since the 2022 General Elections.
Meanwhile, PM Marape said his Pangu Party with 52 MPs and the solid backing of coalition partners, remains intact.
