MADANG Town Mayor, Peter Yalsy Masia, has expressed his gratitude to the Community Policing Units for their efforts in maintaining law-and-order during the festive period, with the assistance of security forces.
Masia acknowledged the combined efforts of the community policing units and security forces, which contributed to the peace in Madang, despite minor issues.
He personally visited ward 8 and 10 of the Madang Urban Local Level Government to convey his appreciation to the units.
Masia also emphasized the potential for positive change in Madang.
He said if all leaders work together, the town could undergo significant change.
