Namah: Governor Bird remains as alternate PM candidate24
MEMBER for Vanimo-Green Hon. Belden Namah told PNG Bulletin that East Sepik Governor Allen Bird remains as the alternate Prime Minister candidate of the Opposition Team.
He made this clarification following a claim from recent Facebook post in which him (Namah) being nominated as new alternate Prime Minister candidate for the Opposition later this afternoon after the parliament sitting.
Accroding to the facebook post, new nomination took place again this afternoon after nominating Allen Bird as Prime Minister candidate.
The facebook post further stated that the first signed document (motion) submitted yesterday by opposition naming Allen Bird as alternate PM and now another second nomination again nominating Belden Namah.
Mr. Namah described this news as fake totally misleading.
“Hon. Governor Allan Bird is still our Alternate Prime Minister candidate,” Namah clarified.
