The Cassowaries Men secured a solid 19-run win over the Mudmen Men in Round 3 of the BOROKO Motors Isuzu Men’s T20 Smash, played today at the Home of Cricket PNG in Port Moresby.

After winning the toss, the Cassowaries elected to bat and posted 116 for 6 in their 20 overs in a steady innings that laid the foundation for victory.

In reply, the Mudmen Men were unable to match the required run rate, eventually bowled out for 97 in 19.1 overs.

The Cassowaries’ disciplined bowling attack ensured consistent pressure throughout the chase, preventing any significant partnerships from developing.

Lega Siaka was named Player of the Match for his standout contribution, playing a key role in the Cassowaries’ all-round performance.
