EDDA aims to build 50 single classrooms by end of 2026

THE Esa’ala District Development Authority (EDDA) under the leadership of Chairman and Member for Esa’ala District, Jimmy Maladina aims to build 50 single ciassrooms within the district by the end of the year.

All 50 newly bult metal structures will be able to fit up to 2.050 students from within the Esa ala district once completed.

Most classrooms are campaign promises by Mr. Maladina during the 2022 national general elections.

Others were bullt ater Mr. Maladina’s electoral and ward visits which he has successfully delivered under his motto, “Same Speed, Full Bar” between the years 2022 and 2026 while only in his first term in parliament.

‘”Esa’ala District Development Authority (EDDA) by the end of 2026 would have bul approximately 50 single classrooms in the District that can fit in 2,050 students in the District,” Member for Esa’ala and Minister for Petroleum,  Jimmy Maladina said.

Mr  Maladina, at the forefront of his vision, has demnonstrated unwavering commitment to the advancement of education within the Esa’ala District.

Under his leadership, the EDDA continues to prioritise educational investment, recognising its fundamental roll in fostering the development and prosperity of he people and the community.

“My vision is for Esa’ala District and my people to be economically independent. Apart from education, my focus to achieve my vision is on economic growth (agriculture, fisheries transportation, etc), health and law and order,” Mr. Maladina said.
