London Broncos set new club record

The London Broncos Rugby League Club have continued their winning streak with the recent record winning margin of 134 points to nil against the North Wales Crusaders in the Betfred Championship on Sunday.

PNG contingents, Morea Morea Jnr, Finley Glare and Gairo Voro helped contributed seven tries out of 25 tries scored by the team.
Voro also converted 10/14 goals helping teammate Jimmy Meadows who converted 9/11 goals.

According to the London Broncos Max Report, this was recorded as “the highest winning margin and the most tries scored in a single match across the top two tiers of professional rugby league since the sport’s inception in 1895.”

London Broncos have displayed their structure well and played as a team to achieve the biggest recorded victory in London Broncos Rugby League history.

Other London Broncos players who scored tries are; Bitungane (1 try), Tchamambe (4 tries), Hawkins (1try), Webster-Mansfield (5 tries), Hursey-Hord (1 try), Davidson (1 try), Smith (2 tries) O’Beirne (1 try), Adebiyi (1 try), Meadows (1 try).

An advantage to the London Broncos team who had players comprised of former NRL, Super League and Queensland Hostplus Cup players who stood out to outperform the armature side.

London Broncos’ quest to make a return to the Super League is evident in every game played in the BretFred Championship as they continued out shine their opponents by continuing the winning streak.

Coach Jason Demetriou had earlier emphasized on the club’s official page the importance of maintaining high standards regardless of the opposition — and the boys delivered exactly that.

He stated that the players are lucky to be part of a great team, urging them to enjoy the moment and create lasting memories.

Demetriou also highlighted the commitment of Club Owner and former Australian international Darren Lockyer, who continues to prioritize the welfare of the club. As coach, Demetriou said his responsibility is to ensure results are achieved in every game.
