“With the global Covid-19 pandemic this Easter comes with great pains of death for some of us,” he said in his Easter message.

“However Easter points to the death of Jesus Christ that also tells of His resurrection that gives hope in the face of the death.

“As the government we are working to the very best of our ability to serve you all in this hard time.

“We will use the Covid-19 to bring to light our weak health system and infrastructure. We are also working on our long term economic restructuring and other public service deliverable amidst the present challenges.

“Signs of death is clear on planet earth with covid-19 and all the other diseases which Jesus Christ did mention it and is recorded in the bible as signs of His second coming.

“Also read in the Bible the book of Mathew 24 verse 8: All this are the beginning of sorrow. Which include contagious diseases as a sign of the return of the Christ.

“Thus, I ask you all to embrace the hope of life Easter points to us.

“Jesus Christ died to restore human’s eternal life that was lost in the Garden of Eden when Eve fell into Satan’s deception,” Prime Minister Marape reiterated.

The Prime Minister elaborate that the same Satan is now using the same deception “that you will not die” and is encouraging lawlessness in the country.

He also told people to have hope and be of good cheer. “God is good at all times and I pray that God’s mercy to be over our country this Easter.”
