IJIVITARI MP, David Arore has decided to join a government coalition party from the opposition rank in the hopes to put in place vital services for his people in the next five years.
Arore told the media that the new electorate is starting from ground zero and the move to the Government side was the way forward.
He said as a new electorate it lacked major infrastructures such as wharf, airport, high schools and others that are already established in the other split electorate like Popondetta Open.
“So, if you look at it carefully the real new electorate is not Popondetta Open, but it is actually Ijivitari, because all the infrastructures and everything right now are in Popondetta Open such as the wharf, airport, all the high schools and everything.
“Therefore, Ijivitari is starting from ground zero. We don’t have a hospital; a high school and we are actually starting from ground zero.”
Ijivitari Open covers Afore, Safia and Tufi.
