PNG Chiefs General Manager Michael Chammas today confirmed that they have signed PNG International, Morea Morea Jnr, Finley Glare and Gairo Voro for the 2028 season.
The three players have signed under development contract.
Chammas said while they are in the development contract they are also eligible to play with the chief in the NRL come 2028.
Morea Morea and Finley Glare have extended their contracts for 2027 with the London Broncos while Gairo Voro is in discussions with his team management on where he would be next.
Chammas said that the three have shown great level of athleticism while playing with the London Broncos and also for PNG Kumuls and the in international representative matches.
They three were also selected based on, on and off the field performances, discipline and respect.
He also said that while being signed under development contract, the trio have to prove the chiefs in the upcoming world cup that they are fit to play at NRL level.
Chief’s CEO Lorna McPherson also welcomed the three London Broncos players and said she could not wait to see them with the chiefs.
