EXTENSION work on the Lambom Health Centre including building of its two staff house in the Konoagil Local Level Government, New Ireland Province have begun.
Since commencement of work on the 27th October 2023, contractor Islands Building and Maintenance is on target to complete both projects by early January 2024.
Workmen have started laying down footings for the foundations and they are focused on delivering the new observation ward connecting to the old ablution block.
Frame for the observation ward roof top including the two staff houses are ready for installation.
Under the leadership of Governor Sir Julius Chan, the New Ireland Government continues to deliver much needed services to the people including investing K300, 000 in this project under its policy of “The further you are, the more we care”.
