THE National Court has issued its decision to dismiss the Election Petition against Usino Bundi Gama MP and Minister for Education, Hon. Jimmy Uguro.
At around 1:30pm today, the National and Supreme Court Judge, Justice Joseph Yagi, presided over the hearing and handed down the decision, while the Pangu Pati MP was on an official duty abroad.
The legal team representing the people of Usino Bundi Gama provided effective representation for the Minister, who expressed gratitude to the community for their support.
In a statement from abroad, Minister Uguro declared that the election win and the court’s decision were both victories for the people of his constituency, and emphasized that he was committed to serve their interests as a custodian of their office.
