MoA to strengthen security in Kerowagi

THE Member for Kerowagi, Francis Kikin Siune, has recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the heads of the police, Correctional Services, and Defense to strengthen security in the district.

The ceremony was witnessed by Kundiawa-Gembogle MP, Muglua Dilu and Kerowagi’s deputy district administrator Joe Kuglame, in Port Moresby last week.

Siune expressed gratitude to the three department heads for their considerate and supportive approach in facilitating his progress to this stage.
He emphasised that the collaboration of these three-armed forces will cultivate a favourable environment for the people of Kerowagi.

Siune’s goal is to ensure that residents enjoy the freedom to move, communicate, and interact openly, thus enhancing the quality of life in Kerowagi for all Papua New Guineans.

“I want the people to have freedom to move, talk and interact openly and make Kerowagi a better place for PNG to live,” Siune said.

Additionally, Siune stressed that the joint efforts of these forces will not only ensure security but also foster long-term developmental partnerships.

He highlighted his utmost concern for security and the safety of the Kerowagi community, aiming for active participation in development and contributing to the nation’s growth in alignment with Vision 2075.
