THE National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCDPHA) remains committed to investing in its people and strengthening workforce capacity to deliver quality public health services across the city.
The Public Service Induction Training – Batch 1 commenced on 12 October and will run until 16 October 2026 at the National Library Conference Room in Waigani. The program is being delivered internally by NCDPHA’s Human Resource Management Team, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to building a well-informed, confident, and professionally aligned workforce.
NCDPHA Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Robin Oge, emphasised the importance of equipping staff with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their duties effectively.
“Building a capable and confident workforce begins with equipping our staff with the right foundations,” Dr. Oge said. “This induction is an investment in the future of our organisation and the communities we serve.”
The training covers key areas, including public service ethics, organisational values, workplace conduct, and the roles and responsibilities of officers serving under NCDPHA.
By delivering the program internally, the Authority ensures that staff receive relevant guidance aligned with its operational requirements, service standards, and long-term organisational goals.
NCDPHA anticipates that the training will contribute to improved professionalism, stronger accountability, and enhanced service delivery across its clinics and divisions.
