PNG Power Ltd has issued an update advising customers that third-party Easipay vending services remain affected by ongoing technical disruptions.

In a public notice released at 4:11pm today, the power utility said its ICT teams are working closely with third-party agents to restore normal vending services as quickly as possible.

Despite the outage, PNG Power has arranged alternative locations for customers to continue purchasing Easipay tokens.

In Port Moresby, customers can access services at the PNG Power National Office in Hohola, which will remain open until 9pm. The Boroko office at 4 Mile will operate overnight from 9:01pm to 6am. However, the company stressed that both locations will operate on a strictly cashless basis.

For customers in other provinces, PNG Power advised that all office sales counters will remain open until 7pm, also on a cashless basis.

The company apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked customers for their patience while efforts continue to resolve the issue.

Customers seeking further information are encouraged to contact PNG Power’s National Call Centre via the toll-free number 116, email callcentre@pngpower.com.pg, or WhatsApp 7000 1009.
