Hi future leaders, within 72 hours, our national government will be engaging with world leaders.
In terms of security, they are all highly protected as the embodiment of their own sovereignty.
I do not want to walk the streets and be seen as a terrorist in the light of a critical global engagement.
UPNG students, do not participate in a protest, your safety will be at risk.
The best approach is to communicate with our own government to provide the content of the agreement and let the responsible parties like Opposition to debate this and bring it up to the court. We must all refrain to stir things up. I can see the full presence of world military on the ground.
Those so called patriotic students on campus who are provoking a public demonstration will be responsible for the welfare of UPNG students if something unpredictable comes up.
This is my last message, UPNG SRC will not facilitate a protest but perhaps may consider other options.
