A ruling will be made by the Supreme Court on Wednesday whether to review a decision of the National Court regarding the Wabag Open Seat election petition.

Wabag Open MP and Health Minister (pictured) was granted relief by the Supreme Court to review the decision of the National Court to reject his Objection to Competency.

During the Supreme Court Review Hearing last week Friday at the Waigani Supreme Court, Justice David Cannings after hearing submissions from parties concerned reserved a ruling to be handed down this week Wednesday November 15, 2023.

The People’s Party parliamentary leader urged his supporters to remain calm and allow the rule of law to prevail accordingly in one peace.

Meanwhile, another petitioner Kennedy Thomas Lemban’s election petition trial at the Wabag National Court was adjourned to December 04, 2023.
